This is doing really well for an indie single. And he's performing it on American Idol next week, which can only help.

I think the song is bland, trite and personality-free, but I'm happy for Elliott that it is doing well. I wonder if he's the beneficiary of that recent settlement with the FCC whereby the big radio conglomerates agreed to give airtime to independent artists in proportion with the indie market share? ETA: This is the settlement I'm talking about. |

Elliott was one of my favorite American Idol contestants ever, but I do not like the material he is recording. It all reminds me of boy band fluff and that's so far from what he's obviously into. |

I really this now lol. It's got a 2001 type sound to it. His voice reminds me of Case mixed with the lead singer of UK boy band Blue (and "Breathe Easy" was my song! --goes over to the songs you're embarrassed to like thread--)

I like this song a lot now. It's a shame his album is filled with AC/boy band schlocks or else I would've copped it a long time ago. I only like this song, "Movin' On" and his cover of "A Song for You"!
