Yeah this song will go to #1 on the Hot 100 for a week and fall out of the Top 10 within a month (just like any semi popular song that gets to sell three months worth of sales demand in one week would)

She definitely gets props for having a video pushed out within a week of filming it. The video sucks tho...not the WHOLE video, but most of it looks like straight up crap. The part where she is covered in paint is hot. And the scenes where is is dancing with the umbrella with the glitter and sh*t falling looks good too. She looks awful in the close up shots. Jay's contribution to the video, like the song. was unnecessary. That one scene that looks like her dancing with with silver paint in the air looks TERRIBLE. Cheap as hell. They shoulda just showed her dancing. The scene with her dancing in the room with that random ass orange tint looks bad. LMAO @ the part where her wig like plops down on her face. That shouldn't have made the video. I like the end of the video tho. I'm sure they are working on another edit of this RIGHT NOW but they had to put something out so it'll do for now.

DEAR SWEET JESUS!!! That video was HOT!! My favorite part was when she was in that white dress and the water was flying everywhere! Thats was cool. She looked hot and her dancing has improved. lol

How did they do the thing with the water in the air?  I don't really like it, but wow. Ugh @ the orange filter. What's the point of the silver naked scene? And the triangle? Anyway, they shouldn't have filmed her that way. Her profile is just not that hot. There's something about her nose that doesn't look good from that view. And she can't dance to save her life. That's sa because the last part would have been great. The video is still hot, but if Beyoncé/Jlo had her solo parts and if Ciara did the group one, it would have been fire. |

The video is okay, not as HOT as the pics made it out to be. The part with the water/paint splashing on her is SUPER cheesy. Also, I think the part with the silver body paint and the triangle looks really weird and out of place. And she doesn't really get wet throughout the whole video. I expected to see the rain falling on her a la Britney's "Stronger" and "Overprotected (remix)" videos, but it never happened. What a copout!

I actually really enjoyed the video............my fav part was her in the silver paint..........that was cool but didn't seem to fit the video............She looked Hot as hell though through out the video........This song has grown on me alot since the first time i heard it.........  |

You can always tell how good or bad a person trying to dance is when they are surrounded by people who are doing the exact same moves as them. Riri looked stiff and confused. I hear Tina Landon did the choreography. |

the water flying in the air reminded me of O-Town's "Liquid Dreams" video. that was horrible. and the silver paint part was pointless.
But I thought the video actually looked well done for the most part...i thought the end looked great visually. and maybe since i'm a straight girl I don't get the nuances, but I thought she looked attractive. a bit too trying too hard to be sexy, but I thought she looked good.

Now that I think about it, Chris Applebaum's videos always seem like they tried to fit too many ideas into one. I remember in the SOS video when everyone thought that light throughout the video was annoying.
I think it's kind of weird how the opinions on this video are so different. Some people are saying it's the best video of the year, and some are saying it's cheap and boring. I guess that's with everything though.

This video is kind of weird to me. It kind of looks like it had a high budget, but then at the same time it looks cheap.
I think if you had someone like Francis Lawrence or even Jake Nava directing this video it would be much better.

I hear this constantly on Houston's pop station and none yet on the urban stations. The video is cheap and tacky as hell. The fake "water bending" (Avatar: The Last Air Bender - anyone hear watch that show on NICK?) looks gross and so is the silver paint sh*t. The dancing was sorta hot but she couldn't dance so it was useless.
