This is going to be that song that I can listen to in like December or January and it'll make me feel like it's still summer '07 for a few minutes.

Great! Top 10? Now more people can here the line "let's get drunk and ride around." I honestly feel like radio should bleep that out. It makes me not like the song as much.

I thought it was changed from "drive" to "ride" for radio. I guess with the second people could stretch and assume they're simply in the back seat and driven by a designated driver that's sober?? I just try to ignore it. a lot of songs I like have a moronic lyric or two.

To me the "ride" line makes me think of the shopping trollies that they mention in the song and picture some frustrated emos riding around in those lol

Are you kidding? We all know that before anything else, it implies driving.

We know it implies "drive" because that's the original lyric. For people hearing it on the radio for "ride" as the first time, it could even imply the metro, buses, and taxi cabs. But I still think "ride" is a little too close to "drive."

Obviously that's not what it actually means. Reading back what I said it sounded more serious than I meant it, I'm not stupid and I can definitely see how people could get offended by it.

I only knew the line as "ride," not "drive." I infer that they are driving.

Well, judging by some of the successful songs on pop, there may be enough listeners who are dumb enough to not get the implication. Thankfully those would probably be the ones most likely to drive under the influence because they heard it in some poppy 'emo' song.

The bullet is going up! I think it entered the Top 10 on a bullet of around +200. Now it's up to #8 with a +428.
