Yeah, I know +442 is actually big. lol But.. I don't think we've seen the lowest yet. We still have a few days of year-end countdowns and sh*t before the gains will start going back to normal.

It kind of feels like this is becoming her biggest hit now. We'll see how it holds up. It's hard to judge in the moment - in January 2007 we were saying the same thing about "Irreplaceable," and I can't tell you the last time I heard that on the radio.

You're right though- after the initial craze of "Irreplaceable" settled over, it went right back to "Crazy In Love" feeling like her biggest.

They've officially lost their minds.
On another note, I don't think I've laughed as hard as I have at the Secret Trois renditions of "Single Ladies" and "Diva" in a long time.

LMFAO @ this song in the UK. This was merely intended to be a B-side. Just went top 10 on the single chart and has broken top 40 airplay. If this out-performs "If I Were A Boy" there too, I'm going to die laughing.
Just goes to show what people really want from Beyonce. This is going to push "Halo" back.

Basically living in both countries, I'm surprised by how much more similar the music scene is between the US and the UK than the charts would imply. This song seems to be no exception- even a month ago it was one of those songs you'd hear without fail everytime you go out. It makes sense to push this in the UK because it's really popular there (it's Top 10 as an album track so obviously). I don't know if this can outperform "IIWAB" in the UK though- that song made it all the way to #1.

Incorporating memorable dances with the songs are going to become here trademark. In 2003, the "Uh Oh" dance was everywhere. Then "Get Me Bodied" in 2006, and now this song/video.
I think the only reason she tried the whole boring ballad thing with this album is because she doesn't have any memorable ballads, and she wants to be known for her voice. But she needs to get over that. When I think of Beyonce, I think of big hair and shiny dresses, not her voice.

I honestly don't know anyone that actually likes this. And i don't hear anyone talking about the video or mentioning the dance. I don't think it's a such a huge phenomenon like people here are making it out to be. Maybe it's only in the US or something, cause here in Canada the song/dance isn't very popular.

I knew this would be huge! It's so funny how they originally tried to downplay this song in favor of "If I were a boy" and just threw this out to the urban audience thinking the pop/rock sound was going to propel her further. But not only has this totally eclipsed IIWAB and become the big hit from the album, it's become a defining moment in her career and one of her signature songs. i love it!
