I'm thinking now this will be bigger than "Carry Out".

I really hope this grows on me. I love the atmosphere of this but it just sounds half baked. Z100 never mentions Katy when they introduce this. Each time I've heard it, they're like "here's the latest from Timbaland." ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png)

This might be my favorite song that Katy Perry has been associated with. Not saying much, but this isn't half bad.

I am hearing this alot on the radio now... it's actually really catchy, and a grower. Even my mom likes this, and she said she likes Timbaland's voice...LOL
The video is ridiculous, though...so stupid, like most of his videos.
I love the breakdown at the end of the video tho, that is HOT!
What is that song playing at the end of the video?

Watching the video for the first time, I forgot how much I loathe the breakdown at the end. Thank God I found an edit without it.

Watching the video for the first time, I forgot how much I loathe the breakdown at the end. Thank God I found an edit without it. The breakdown segues wonderfully into the next song on the album, "Can You Feel It". CYFI sounds so good, sonically. If you listen to IWEMA, CYFI and EOTL all together, it's a good 15 min worth of high energy!

Does someone want to explain this to me? The bullet has dwindled to +97 at #35. This is such a surefire hit that I can't even imagine how a PD could be foolish enough to overlook this. The only hope I can manage at this point is that stations who were late with "Carry Out" are waiting for an extra few weeks to add this, but like I said...why wait on a HUGE hit. "Scream" part 2? Man, this era is a total clusterf**k.

I am hearing this ALL the time here in Toronto. It must be one of the most played songs in the city right now because it's always on, every station. This really grew on me.

This project was handled horribly and was a massive flop. I wonder if he's going to continue the "Shock Value" series. If he does, the next album better be WAY better. They should send "Lose Control" out for the summer. It couldn't hurt. And Interscope is famous for giving artists with flop albums a bunch of singles.

This really should've done better. It was the best single from the album.

I actually think this is really overrated at Sound Check. It sounds half baked to me and I'm not surprised it flopped.

Yeah I agree this isn't the huge number one smash the thread leads one to believe. I think it's a good song though.

Airplay has been recovering over the past week, although the bullet's down a bit right this second. It's in pretty heavy rotation in Philly, Twin Cities, Salt Lake, Raleigh and a few other decent-sized markets so it's probably calling out well. Why this would come as a surprise to any programmers is beyond me...

Never mind, this is about to lose its bullet again outside the Top 30. Probably didn't help that Katy released "California Gurls" within the past week, but this song's failure to get off the ground is really aggravating nonetheless. To top it off, that freaking "Carry Out" stupidity is still sitting at #13.

This song deserved better. Can't believe I'm saying that about a Katy Perry track.
