This is going to be the next single in the US. A new version is being done for radio- not sure if that means a remix or if it means a more established artist will step in and do the vocals:
This is a big flop. They better stick with "Memories."

Well...there already is an official version that features Fergie.
This is decent, but it's not a hit with just Chris Willis on it. and I don't get why they'd release this over "Memories", but maybe they want to work the Fergie/Peas angle again, which would have more clout than Cudi.
but releasing a single in the summer to hold through to the holidays?

I guess the Peas angle makes sense, but this song is the type of house-music dance that alienates the US market. The Kid Cudi song is more of the chillout stoner dance that appeals more to people here.

I can't imagine Fergie being anything other than a hot mess on this. But we'll see.

they should just release the song with estelle. She's a one hit wonder in the US and that song flopped EVERYWHERE even in places where she's not one.

I actually like this song very much, but I agree that "Memories" is the better song of the two and would've been the best single choice.
This might go Top 20.

I can see this doing well, but I just feel like "Memories" could sooo easily be a hit. I guarantee most of my friends have no idea who Kid Cudi is, but the song gets them moving in the club. It's just so hot.

It's just so hot. Agreed... everything from the tempo and atmosphere to the song to the lyrics that beg to be quoted in every high school yearbook. It sounds like a hit. It could even end up being this year's graduation song (just thought of that)

terrible. the speed up took it from a good house track to a hot mess. Guetta's screwing himself over in the house scene trying to change his tracks to pop.

this reminds me of "Love Is Gone" maybe it's cause Chris Willis' voice is so distinctive and here is a version with Will.I.Am , Fergie & Chris Willis

^ I don't think it's just the Chris Willis presence. The production is pretty similar as is the song's structure. It pretty much feels like "Love Is Gone, Part II." That's actually why I'm sure this could easily be a hit. I'd just rather see the more unique, and IMO far superior, "Memories" be released.
Fergie fits in pretty well on the track, for what it's worth.

Three features? That seems excessive, especially when you consider the song was just fine when it only featured Chris Willis.

The new version is AWFUL. LMFAO's part is insulting and Fergie's bridge is a complete mess. It definitely doesn't sound like "Love is Gone" anymore. But it also doesn't sound like something radio will play. Just send the original for adds.
