Probably wiser for them to hype this up as the official follow-up to "Chasing Cars." Sounds like it's got a good push and if the song is good, it should be a hit for them. Then they can FINALLY release "Open Your Eyes" here.

I like this a lot more than whatever their follow-up to "Chasing Cars" was here (I don't even remember). I can see getting tired of this quickly though. It's fairly similar to "Chasing Cars" in format. Slow piano driven verses, with a louder anthematic chorus..

I like this a lot. I can't say that "this is going to be a hit!" though. I can't say "this is going to flop" either. It's really up in the air and I see either circumstance as a realistic possibility.
I still think "Open Your Eyes" is their other hit here.

I like "You're All I Have," "Hands Open" and most of their fast songs much more. But this is still good. I hope it's a hit for them.

Yeah, this is good. It's hardly a big departure from the Eyes Open album and isn't up to the standard of any of Final Straw, but it's still good.

This doesn't grab me at all. Then again, neither did YAIH, and I'm really loving that track now...

I can say its the best single from the Spider-Man soundtracks but that isn't saying much.

Did this officially go for adds yet? Was the adds date the same as when it was "digitiall serviced" to radio or is it still yet to come?
Depending on that answer, this is either doing decently so far or another immediate bomb.

I don't really like it. It may be a grower. It just sounds like an album filler.

This sounds boring to me. Their sound is actually tired now.

Now available on iTunes
I personally think they should have built up more demand for it before releasing, by waiting for the Spiderman commercials to air and using the song in the ad spot.

Looks like the public was waiting for a follow-up hit even if radio wasn't.

If that was really the case, I'd think "You're All I Have" would have done well on iTunes too and it didn't. I'm pretty sure it's the Spiderman connection that's giving this it's initial boost.

Not necessaily. If people knew that "YAIH" was released and it still didn't sell, then you'd be on to something. To casual music fans, they probably didn't even know Snow Patrol had a new song out until seeing "Signal Fire" front and center on iTunes. If "YIAH" was front and center on iTunes, my guess is it would be Top 40 on iTunes too.
