I don't know who is she, but this sounds very promising. She used to be a pirate in the 1990s.

Apparently the whiny kid is 19000 copies plus, ahead of Kanye.

Now #2 on UK iTunes.
(it hasn't been appearing on the chart all week for some utterly bizarre and unexplained reason)

CLEARLY because it sells itself! I'm not joking. There have been reported incidents of the album actually springing off the shelves into people's hands and shopping trolleys.

Ok, I really love this now...
The melody reminds me a little of Deep Dish's minor 2005 hit "Say Hello", which I also loved.

If that's the amazing quality you get on the record sleve, just think of the quality you'll get on the record within.

Yeah, CD1 and CD2 of their single covers are almost always exactly the same except with some addition. This time it's a tribute to Shayne Ward. Maybe one of the next single's covers will have them cutting themselves in honor of Leona's single? At least it's better than the ones for "Something Kinda Oooh" (i think...might've been "I Think We're Alone Now") where CD1 had them sitting on and around a giant speaker, and CD2 was the exact same picture except the speaker was a giant white box. LMAO - yes it was I Think We're Alone Now!! Sometimes I think they really are just taking the p*ss. The cheapness of the "Something Kinda Ooooh" video made me burst out laughing.

Climbs to number 4, making it her fourteenth consecutive UK Top 10 hit since "Spinning Around" made #1 in June 2000. Her 30th in total.
This breaks her previous best of 13 consecutive UK Top 10 hits from "I Should Be So Lucky" (#1 in January 1988) to "Shocked" (#6 in May 1991).
Though the former was achieved in remarkably under 4 years.

It's not brilliant or anything, but it's a decent enough comeback.

Bonde do Rolê are a group of musicians from Brazil, consisting of MCs Pedro D'Eyrot and Marina Vello, and DJ/MC Rodrigo Gorky. "Solta o Frango" which losely translates as release the chicken - is their brand new single, taken from album "With Lasers". It's very catchy and different and gets a UK release on 3rd September. Check it out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgb6FxuaPQA

Are you having a laugh? That video is awful, Robyn as a "chav" doesn't work. Robyn with fashionable clothes in weird boxes with HUGE eyebrows does.

I love the way the video continues the coloured boxes theme, but makes it very different to the excellent "With Every Heartbeat" one. ;D

Hm, this smacks of too little, too late. They should have extended it to a maximum of 4 formats on the condition that 1 format was "entry-level", otherwise remaining at 3. That would have been fairer..
Plus - some 2-track singles are being sold for 99p already - namely Amy MacDonald's "Mr Rock & Roll".
I will continue to buy CD singles for as long as they continue to make them.
