It took them nine years and five studio albums to finally pick up their first hit and this was it. They found a song that appealed to a wider audience and as a result became a multi-format smash for the Buffalo trio.
This was definitely the song that really captured my interest in their music. I was addicted to this back in 95/96. It was my favorite of theirs until "Iris."
It hit #1 on CHR/Pop for one week and peaked at #5 on The Hot 100.

It's still my favorite Goo Goo Dolls song. The album is still my favorite Goo Goo Dolls album too. Great song.

I like this song. I first heard it on Rick Dees countdown - where it ended up #1 (from memory)

Yet another Goo Goo Dolls song that flip-flops as my #1 song of all-time. All 5 of the biggest hits from them are my top 5 songs of all-time, I just never can figure out how to rank them, I hate choosing, it's like each song is a person and I don't want to disappoint any of them. Something just seems wrong about me picking one over the other. Weird I know.
