Believe it or not, Heart used to be a great rock band. Not that I mind their 80's AC material, but it just doesn't compare to their earlier music. This, "Magic Man," and "Crazy On You," are some of my favorite rock songs from the 70's. The guitar riff on this track is obviously a classic, and man could Ann Wilson blow. Peaked at #11 on the pop chart.

I was thinking about what I wanted to say and then I read what you said, and you cleared up everything. I actually thought their last album wasn't that bad. They did kind of a throwback to the 70's and it was better than basically all of their albums since the beginning of the 80's albums.

I like the Heart dichotimy (that is totally spelled wrong, I think). Their 80s stuff is polished pop production (which was no small effort for them), and their 70s stuff proves they had soul. I prefer "Magic Man" over this one although both are phemonenal.
