Fifth official American Idiot single! It's not one of my favorites, but it should still be a big hit. I'd say around #7 Alternative and #18 CHR/Pop. I like "Jesus Of Suburbia" so much more, but it obviously wasn't going to be much of a radio hit.

I like this song but there's definitly songs on the album I'd go with before this. I agree with Orange Clouds' predictions.

So... is the rumor that "Jesus of Suburbia" is the fifth alternative single, while "Give Me Novavaine" is the fourth pop single false? Is "Jesus" scrapped altogether?
Personally, I'm fine with that. "Novacaine" is my second favorite single from the album.

Love this song, it's great. I've been a fan since I first heard it over a year ago.

Also, the one major concern I have for this song is promotion. By the time this song really gets going, "American Idiot" will have been out for almost a year and a half, plus there is now the live album available. I'm wondering if the label will push this as hard as it needs to to make it a hit.
Outside of that, I think this is very radio friendly. Under normal time circumstances I'd say top 10 easily. On both formats.

Jesus Of Suburbia is the single best thing Green Day has ever done, and it would be a shame if it never got a release.
