Hard to believe this is three years old already.
Anyway, this is what I consider one of Beck's most conventional-sounding records. Usually, his singles are a little bit left of center and don't quite fit into any radio format. But "E-Pro" sounded like a straightforward rock song that fit perfectly into Modern Rock radio. Not surprising: It was basically built off a Beastie Boys sample.
At any rate, I liked this song a lot and still do. It's a very fun rock record, but it's just quirky enough to be authentically Beck.
Hot 100: #65, US Modern Rock: #1, UK: #38

This is hot. So catchy. It's one of the songs I use as my ringtone.

This is a certified JAM! I love it. The only song I like on the album as much is "Missing."

Yeah, this is good. It came out at a time when Alt radio was embracing 90's acts again and actual alt-acts again. Too bad that phase didn't last.
"Girl" was also pretty good.

Na na, na na na na na
Of his radio friendly singles, I liked "Girl" much better. This just had a repetitive hook that raped my ears.
