The first of 2 Mandy Moore songs that I liked (and still do) ... From the soundtrack of the Rent-like movie, "Center Stage" (very good movie!)
She sounds really good in this song, unfortunately, she's not come close to duplicating such a good song after that...
Though she came close with my other favorite MM song, "Cry" in 2002....

Yeah, there was a remix to this on the "I Wanna Be With You" Special Edition. "I Wanna Be With You (Soul Solution Remix)"
I'll upload it for you if you like.

I love this song. Despite the fact that she is incredibly mediocre, she still deserved just as much success as the other Big 3 (Britney, Christina, Jessica). This is my favorite of hers, along with "Crush" and "Cry."

At first I thought it was really boring and she didn't have the vocals to carry a bland ballad into that other territory. Then I really liked it. Now I'm back to thinking it's kind of boring.

UGH !!! this is cheesy as hell. This was a flop and mandy is a flop. This was her biggest hit in the US. It's actually the only song I've ever liked from her.

Candy was a bit sales (and TRL) hit in the US, but got little radio support. It peaked at No. 41 in the US.
I Wanna Be With You was a decent radio hit for Mandy. It peaked at No. 24 on the Hot 100 through airplay alone. If a commercial single had been issued at the time of the airplay peak, this probably would've gone Top 5.
