Ok, I was just listening to this and I love this. It reminds me of summer of 2002 which is one of my favorites summers ever! And this song is just so catchy. Its easily her best.

Her first two singles were trash and The Matrix were an awful production team. Good riddance. They reminded me of those awful production teams in the 80's that would put out overproduced trash. Thankfully Avril grew up with her sophomore album.

This was not bad for her debut single but I was baffled as to why it spent 8 weeks at #1 on CHR/Pop. I mean, it wasn't *THAT* good...

The first time I heard this I instantly knew it was going to be a #1 hit. I loved this song, I got the album the day it came out, I was so excited about it. One of the best songs of the decade so far, and a solid album too.
I'm sure people wouldn't be so negative if she was a one-hit wonder.

I hate this song. She didn't get tolerable until later on.

I thought it was bland. 2002 was a time a lot of bland songs suddenly became hits. But to be honest, the song was so overplayed that I finally got into it later on.

Back in 2002, I used to hate Avril so much lol. Even if I liked a little "Complicated", "Sk8ter Boy" and "I'm With You", I forced myself to hate her those singles.

Excellent track. I loved it when it was out. Now, I still like it but not quite as much.

I like it. But I'm not sure how it got so big. I'm not sure why everybody seemed to love it. I would never have picked this as her debut single. But I guess it worked.

"Complicated" was so unavoidable in the summer of 2002. At first I didn't mind hearing it, but then after being bombarded with it for 3 months all--the--time I wouldn't care if I didn't hear this song for the rest of my life.

Loved this. It hasn't dated as well as I wanted it to, though.
