I always thought this would've been a huge hit on rhythmic and pop. If she would've released this after Fighter it woulda been off the chain! ;D This song is so RnB to me.

Very catchy. I prefer this over Dirrty because it's not as raunchy.

This DEFINATELY should have been released after "The Voice Within" or maybe instead of it.

One of the few songs by her I can tolerate. Should have been a single.

It was one of the few Stripped songs I really got into.

I'm just listening to this again and wondering why this wasn't a single. It's better than like 3 of the singles from that album.

It's actually better than all of the singles IMO.

This is hands down the only song I still listen to on that CD. She should've released this along with a sexy video with a HOT male model in it. That would've been FIYAH!

Like almost everyone who replied, I really loved this song, and I still think it's hot. Yea I've always pictured a video of her and a half naked dude, really seductive, obviously...lol
Alot of the single choices for that album were really f**ked up, looking back on it. But I guess hindsight is 20/20.
I wouldn't change Dirrty & Beautiful. Those were the right choices, first and second, IMO. Dirrty did what it was supposed to do. I love Fighter, but, there are other songs that could have been a single, like GMGY for example. Can't Hold Us Down shouldn't have been a single, and even if they wanted to go the "urban" route to play up that angle, they could have released GMGY instead of CHUD. And Impossible should have been the 5th single instead of TVW.
GMGY shoulda been third, then maybe Fighter to switch things up, and end off with Impossible.
I guess it didn't really matter though, in the end. The album went 4x platinum and sold just about 4 million copies, so I highly doubt switching any of the singles would have sold an extra 500,000 - 1 million copies, but ya never know, especially if they released GMGY and/or Impossible and they were crossover hits. But I dont think it would have helped THAT much.
