This was one of my favourite songs growing up. I always knew her as the "chick with the eye patch"

I LOVE this song. Is she still popular in the UK or is she considered a washed-up 90's artist or something? I'm really surprised this was her only US hit. "I Wish" would fit in great at 1994 US radio (if was a minor hit, but it should have been bigger). I re-discrovered her briefly in 2000 when I was in Spain- her song "Rise" was huge there at the time. Like that one a lot too, but nothing comes close to "Dreams." I always knew her as the "chick with the eye patch" Me too.

Nah, she's pretty washed up now. I don't think she's had a hit since her song on the Bridget Jones' soundtrack called "Out of Reach". I wasn't a fan of this song but I loved the duet she did with East 17.
She went from an eyepatch to a weird haircut to sunglasses. Does she has a missing eye?

I heard this song in the market the other day. It still sounds good. I love this type of music. I might go make a Pandora station to find some other songs like this.

This is one of my favorite songs ever!
No, I remember reading she has a lazy eye or something like that.
