I liked her first two singles. Both very catchy.
I know she tried to pursue acting. I remember seeing on the movie poster for the remake of "The Time Machine" which flopped. That's the last I've heard from her.

I loved this song. TRL ate her up in the fall of 2000, too...too bad this wasn't released as a summer single, because I think it would have been even more successful. That keyboard riff in the beginning was fantastic. Guilty pop pleasure in a big way.
She ruined her career by not following up "Baby Come Over (This Is Our Night)" with the bland yet more marketable "Always Come Back To Your Love" instead of the lame "Don't Need You To Tell Me I'm Pretty" (lol at these long track names). I wish she were still around.

She also then went on to become a crack (or something of the like) addict, which she was recently talking about. I think she recently said she was going to try to make a comeback.

Her first two singles were excellent pop tracks, but she was trash overall. Everything else on the album was bland.

For some reason, I just can't picture her...a 20 something bubblegum pop Irish lass... like, hollowing out Bic pens and getting ripped all tweekend long. That doesn't sit well with me. Don't want to tell you...that I'm in grave need of rehab...

I love this and "Always Come Back To Your Love." I remember hearing "Gotta Tell You" when it was a Euro hit and thinking "this is going to be a US hit, but her only one." I was right.
I forget what "Baby Come Over" sounds like but I liked it. Otherwise, I hated everything else from her that I've heard.

The US remix to Baby Come Over ("This Is Our Night") was way better than the original, and included a nod to Earth Wind and Fire. Hot 100 wise, it only went to 49...although it did better at Pop and KTU played it forever so in the NYC area it was just as popular as "Gotta Tell You" (which KTU also played for like a year, I assume because of DJ Skribble having remixed it and just been hired at the station at the time). I wonder why it peaked so poorly.

I thought the "Baby Come Over" remix sampled "Ladies Night" by Kool & The Gang. I haven't heard it since it was out though and yeah, I would have thought it was just as big as "Gotta Tell You" given it's success around here.

For some reason I don't remember "Baby Come Over" being big in this area, although I listened to a clip on iTunes last night and I definitely remember the song now.

I haven't heard this since it was released, but at this time, it wasn't worse than the other Britney & co songs.

Yeah, the remix is rubbish. The original is a great song, though. I quite liked "Always Come Back To Your Love" and "Body II Body", but nothing else she released interested me. Video: youtube.com/watch?v=EKH_689ld2E
