There isn't so much diiffernce between the original and the remixes. It still sounds country to me.

KSME 96.1 in Fort Collins has been playing this a lot already. I still haven't heard the mix, but I think it is a bad idea. They're trying to reinvent 1998-2000 all over again, and it won't happen.

They're performing this on the Academy Of Country Music Awards with Kelly Clarkson.

They're performing this on the Academy Of Country Music Awards with Kelly Clarkson. Woohoo! Can't wait ... when is it? It'd be sweet if they performed this song, or My Wish or Ellsworth

THIS was the song they were supposed to record with Kelly? Her voice does not suit the song at all.

I think Kelly would sound good on this. That S Club girl who originally recorded this song sounded okay and Kelly blows her out of the water vocally.

Yeah, I think Kelly would do really well on any of the ballads on Me And My Gang ... it's such a pity the duet never materialized on the album.

Well that's just it though, Kelly has a much stronger voice than Jo ever did. Kelly will do this well, she always does, it just would not have been my pick from the album for her to sing, as there are other songs off Me And My Gang, IMO, that would work better for her.

I didn't like the performance with Kelly Clarkson at all. It was a big mess. They were off-key and the harmonizing just didn't work out.
The crossover has begun!
MOST ADDED at AC with 15 adds. Fourth most added at Hot AC with 7 adds.

This is mad depressing in every way possible, but I like it for some reason. It's also shaping up to be the biggest country crossover to CHR in a very long time. These types of records always do well in the South, so expect a lot of heavy rotation from them first, just as with Keith Urban and Tim McGraw last year. In typical fashion, KISSFM has already put it into power, so ask me in a few months and I'll probably be ridiculously sick of this just like with "Live Like You Were Dying" and "You'll Think Of Me".

This is #1 in overall callout at pop radio. It's definitely shaping up to be the biggest country crossover in years.

It's a great song, but Rascal Flatts' rendition of this really annoys me. I much prefer Jeffrey Steele's original.

Yeah, but most pop stations didn't even play the country version of that song and this already outpeaked it.
