One of my favorite tracks on his debut album, could have been a single. It's very reminiscent of The Police IMO.

Yeah, it sounds like The Police. It's a good pop song, and I like his voice. The hook is kinda annoying though. "She Got Me" and "Mercy" could have been singles.
