I have brought this song up because Meat Loaf has "finally" released his version of this song for Bat out of Hell 3. Many think of this song as a celine song, but in fact it was actually written and intented for Meat Loaf back in 1986 for the Bat Out of Hell 2 album. They wisely chose "I'd Do anything for love" instead. Anyways....I always thought celine's album version was toooooo long. I much preferred the video version which was edited and cut. here is meat loaf's video www.youtube.com/watch?v=9f2Nh0lhxdgand celine's video www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYhaFufPtYYthey both have similar themes.

Incredibly cheesy, but it's one of the few Dion songs I can tolerate.

It was written for Meat Loaf by Steinman, but the first recorded version was in 1989 by Pandora's Box. I typically hate Steinman compositions, but this is one of my favorite Celine songs.

I knew I wasn't crazy for feeling like this was a Meat Loaf song. Even the video was basically a Meat Loaf video.
Anyway, it's ok.

I don't like it. Definitely a weak spot on Falling Into You, which is by far her best album. It is very Meatloaf, in that it's entirely too melodramtaic. That's pretty much why I can't stand it.
