This is one of Sarah's most underrated singles. It was released from Fumbling Towards Ecstasy in 1995 and only went to #29 Alternative. She wrote this about a couple in which one of the partners had AIDS, and the other stayed with him anyway until he died. Her vocal performance is really passionate. I love the live versions of this song even more than the album version.

AMAZING SONG...AND YES THE LIVE VERSION IS EVEN BETTER. yes, the mirrorball version is definitely better. And it probably my favourite track off the album (along with the following track good enough) In fact, the entire mirrorball album is one of my favourite albums. You can hear the raw emotion. My favourite part of the performance is the climax she sings "am i in heaven, or am in hell, at the crossroads, IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh I am standing."

AMAZING SONG...AND YES THE LIVE VERSION IS EVEN BETTER. In fact, the entire mirrorball album is one of my favourite albums. The version released last year( i think) is amazing...it's the whole concert...i bought it while i was in the us.
