From HMV.co.uk...new Robbie Williams single out December 12th in the UK... 'Advertising Space' is the second single to be taken from Robbie Williams new album ‘Intensive Care’. As Robbie describes, "This is my 'True Romance' song… the one where, like Christian Slater in the film, I like to believe I have direct access to Elvis Presley every now and then".Elegiac, mournful and profoundly cinematic, it describes a superstar's tragic fall from grace. Robbie jokingly describes it as his own 'Candle In The Wind'. 'Advertising Space' was written and recorded by Robbie Williams and Stephen Duffy in Robbie Williams' bedroom high in the Hollywood Hills.Tracklistings: CD-1 1. Advertising Space 2. Family Coach CD-2 1. Advertising Space 2. Twist 3. Don't Say No CD-3 1. Advertising Space 2. Don't Say No 3. Overture For Berlin 4. Advertising Space

I like it fine. It's the kind of song I'd enjoy on the radio but wouldn't bother listening to in my spare time. A little too boring...

It's nice but not amongst his best ballads. I like the video where he's dressed up like Elvis Presley. And in general think he has pretty good videos.

I begin to like it.
Why do you think of the video? Him as Elvis?

I don't want to watch the video. I'm afraid it will ruin my impression of the song.

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. The chorus is perfect for belting.

Hate hate hate it. I would say he needs a new formula, but we all know what happened when he tried something new.
This and "Ugly" were basically all that was on the radio in the UK for the last six to eight weeks of 2005. It was not a good time.
