mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/darrsobe.wmaDarren Hayes's new solo single goes for adds at Adult Contemporary on January 16. It's the best song he's released since "Crash And Burn," but I think his star at radio has long since faded. This even missed the Top 10 in the UK. It's a really nice song though.

This song is really nice. It's got a 90's sound to it for sure... but it's even poppier than Savage Garden. I mean, SG is poppy but this is more pure pop or something.
I hope this does really well at the format. It sounds very summer to me, so given how slow AC is, it should become a hit right around then! (if it does at all)

I love this song too. It's one of my fave tracks from Darren. It's well, so beautiful.
The video is great too.
The song gives me a whole Spring vibe to it. I feel all warm and fuzzy after hearing this one. This will do something on the AC stations. Not a lot, but a little.

It's a pretty song, but nothing to write home about.

I prefer the US version. I've seen the video for the original version a few times and found the song incredibly boring.

The new version makes it even better for me. I love this! I know it's going to flop, but I really wish it wouldn't.

I'm kind of hoping if they put money into this to have it remixed for the US that they're actually willing to put something into this in terms of additional promotion. I've seen ads for it and they're definitely going for the Savage Garden connection for the sake of familiarity. They should use this in a TV show!
It reminds me of classic George Michael mixed with Savage Garden now.

It's been added to 9 AC stations! Hey, it's a start!

Now it's on 10 stations, lead by WLTJ-FM in Pittsburgh who have it at #8 on their playlist! Keep it up AC so that CHR/Pop can follow suit!

This has been holding steady at about 80 spins for a couple of months now. A few smaller AC stations are playing this in pretty high rotation and that's about it. It's unfortunate Darren killed his career by releasing a handful of lackluster singles prior to this one.

Oh, and it picked up it's first two CHR/Pop spins this week!

I like this more than most Savage Garden hits lol Me too. The only ones I might like more are "To The Moon And Back" and "Crash And Burn".

Also there's something about this song that screams closing scene of a television show or movie to me. If Columbia could pull that off for him, I think this could be huge. So doubtful though.

If this flopped everywhere including in his home country, I doubt the US is seen as a prospective market where they'd start flexing promo muscle.
