"Don't Hang Up" was one of the songs that never made it onto Britney's 4th number 1 album, In the Zone. It was co-written by B. Kierulf and J. Schwartz, the same guys who worked on Britney's "Anticipating"/"That's Where You Take Me"/"Before the Goodbye"/"Lonely." Britney is listed as a co-writer for this song, so get that writing credit B! ;D ;D ;D youtube.com/watch?v=VMKv1ovVW9U&feature=related

I remember it came with the In The Zone DVD Bonus CD. It was HOT. So was "The Answer".
Was this about phone sex though?

It IS about phone sex. lol I guess that's why it was left off the album. With the sexual lyrics aside, the melody is really catchy and the production is pretty hot though.

It's just okay, I wasn't disappointed it didn't make the album. It's very similar to "Empty" by Janet, musically and lyrically to me.

Hotness. I loved this and "The Answer" more than a lot of the stuff that made it on ITZ.

I have no doubt it was Jive. They were the ones that left songs off Blackout cuz it didn't fit with the "urban" mood of the album.
