f**king hate it. I don't understand why so many brilliant dance songs never cross over to pop but sh*t like this can.

LOL I love it. Sure it's a stupid and pointless song but the rhythm and melody is infectious. I definitely used to dance to this one a lot. "Move Your Body" and "Too Much Of Heaven" were decent singles from them also.

I never understood the chorus lyrics. people told me the chorus said "If I was green, I would die" I always sang "i'm blue da boo dee da boo da"

This has got to be among the songs with the most misheard lyrics. Some I've heard are: I'm blue, I got beat up and died I'm blue, and I'm in need of a guy I'm blue, and I'm so beat I could die

It was fun, back when it was out. I can't listen to it anymore, though.

I don't mind this song, but I still can't understand why it was such a big hit.

I hate it, but it was Number 1 on request countdowns on WHTZ and WKTU in New York City.

Ok, this is unlistenable NOW. But I remember my sophmore year in college, in the dorms, back when Napster was around, this song spread like wildfire. For 3 or 4 weeks we couldn't get enough of it. And then a couple of months later it actually became a hit, and then we all hated it.

Stupid but fun. It was catchy, and all the ways you can guess the lyrics and imitate the annoying voice is funny.
It actually reminds me of hearing it over the radio on the PA of this go-kart/arcade place near where I used to live that got demolished for a hotel complex.

This is one of the worst songs ever, and it's absolutely disturbing to me that it became such a big hit.
