This was one of only a couple of dance tracks to get any attention at all in 2003 (along with Lasgo's "Alone") and by far my favorite dance hit of the decade. Tina Arena sang the vocals on this one and she got her first Hot 100 entry since "Chains" seven years earlier. I loved how it was a dance song, but it was still so melancholy. Z100 played the breakbeat remix of this which I didn't like as much, but I was happy to see them give attention to it. CHR/Pop missed out on a lot of great dance tracks in 2003. Anything that wasn't rap basically got shafted that year.

^^^ Yes, def true. Easily the best dance song of 03 (a pretty bad year for mainstream dance), even if bt's "Somnambulist" got like, all of the attention that year.
This was SO overplayed on KTU, though...and I grew really tired of the single edit. I loved the Johnny Budz edit that Z100 played in medium rotation for about 3 months (why they gave more attention to Lasgo really bothered me, because Alone was no Something by far)...and the Tiesto edit was fantastic.

KTU made me so tired of this song.

I love this song and it's not in the past tense.

I love this song. Party 92.7 (RIP) played this sooooo much that I got sick of it for awhile. The Johnny Budz and Tiesto mixes helped me like this again.
The vocals by Tina Arena are just simply fantastic.
