This song, from Brazil and sung entirely in Portuguese, was a big NYC radio hit in the spring of 1998. KTU was on it constantly and even Z100 played it a little. Parts of this song are awesome because it sounds like authentic, ecclectic Brazilian music complete with guitars and great vocal bridges. Itwas refreshing to have that diversity on radio. However, some parts of the production also sound like typical 90's dance cheese. (I actually think the dance version is a remix?)

I love this song. Several different covers of this came out around 1997/1998. I liked Carapicho and Carillos's versions of this too.

I liked Carapicho and Carillos's versions of this too. Did it sound very different from Fruit De la Passion?
