This was a German smash hit and a minor R&B hit in 1984. Several years later it became a US club hit. It was one of the earliest tracks to mix dance and hip-hop. The lyrics are totally nonsensical sound affects and scat type rapping. The instrumental is like post-disco R&B, new wave, and dance all mashed together. Most people would probably recognize this track because the Ying Yang Twins heavily sampled it for "Shake".

I loved this song! It's sooo much fun.
Kevin Aviance covered this back in 1997 also. His version was pretty decent. The vocals sounded similar to the original George Kranz one, but the instrumental is all tribal.
