How I HATED this. I haven't heard this in years but I almost want to. It's funny how the songs you hated the most end up being among the most nostalgic for you years later. This song was a freestyle influenced song that ended up being a pretty big hit at CHR/Rhythmic. I think it started off in the Southwest, making her... a precursor to Amanada Perez and Baby Bash?!

This was massive over here in NorCal! The version with the "a little bit louder now" vocal samples was the mix of choice.
I really liked this song. I just loved the neo-freestyle sound of it.

I loved the opening. beep-beep, beepbeep. If I remember my KTU correctly, this was like, one of the original songs they added back in Feb '96 that actually was new at the time. I remember tuning in and hearing the original DJs mention it as what I guess they'd call a "fresh beat" these days.
Damn, KTU was good then...and I'll say that even if I couldn't go one day for months without "In De Ghetto" lol.
This song sounds an awful lot (especially the end) like Jocelyn Enriquez's "Do You Miss Me"...another classic KTU song.

I totally forgot about this song. I remember the video playing over and over on The Box.

It's not a song that bothers me, but I've never been crazy about it. It's really generic.
