OK, so their highest ranking at Billboard's Club Play chart was with "Nocturne", at #5. But this, this is the one any serious raver at heart holds for eternity. It hit #14 on the UK Singles Chart in May 1991, and and Top 10 in many countries in Continental Europe. If there is one track which is the perfect soundtrack to the Rave/Warehouse party madness Europe was living at the time, this is one of its essential full-stops. It throbs, it screams, it punches, and it definitely pushes anyone who's not dead inside to get your ass up and move like a maniac forever trapped in an asylum. No wonder Grunge didn't hit Europe the way it did the US. For what? This was mainland Europe's early 90s version of Punk Rock down to every detail. An eternal dance/electronic classic!

Now for some hard info. They were a Belgian trio, formed by Patrick de Meyer, Olivier Abbeloos and Phil Wilde. Patrick didn't exactly turn anything of note after T99. Olivier was also part of Quadrophonia, who had a self-titled hit single a year earlier all over Continental Europe, and C-Mos, who had a big dance hit last year with "2 Million Ways". But Phil Wilde is the one most people know, having been part of the production duo who formed 2 Unlimited and delivering such worldwide smashes as "Get Ready For This", "Twilight Zone", "No Limit" or "Tribal Dance".
