This song signalled the definitive turning point where Taylor went from pop radio superstar to exclusively a club diva. The album version of "I'll Wait" was a boring ballad, but E-Smoove did a house remix that got a lot of attention. This is a catchy song, and she slaughters the vocal performance. It's a shame her career fell off so fast, and she disappeared with most of the 80's dance-pop divas by the mid-90's when R&B started to take over. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfuTgjcz9uo

The remix is fun, it's even the version they put on her greatest hits.

This was the single version as well. I liked it at the time and still do. More so than her first two singles off that album.

I loved the album version! I thought it was very Tina Turner-ish.
The remix was great too. This should have been the 2nd single. (It was 3rd after "Can't Get Enough..." and "Send Me A Lover").
My fave cut off "Soul Dancing".
