I sometimes cringe at the way some artists age- once very credible, soulful artists turn into Botox-injected lounge singers (Rod Stewart)- or they simply keep touring way past their prime, charging inflated prices for a ticket to see a half-hearted set of their greatest hits (insert any one of hundreds of acts here). So it really pleases me when the rare artist hangs on to what got him there in the first place. Mark Chesnutt may not be George Strait in popularity by any stretch, but there are definite similarities- they have both gotten better and better as artists as they have gotten older. "When You Love Her Like Crazy," Chesnutt's latest single on Lofton Creek is another example of what a classic artist he still is. And when there's an infectious melody for him to grab on to, as with this single, it makes it even better- Impacting Now
