The Smashing Pumpkins had some brilliant singles during the 90's, but neither of my two favorites (this and "Perfect") came from what is perhaps their most revered album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Indeed, I listen to this at least a couple of times a week. Beautiful, fantastic dark instrumentation really sets this apart.

I love all the Siamese Dream singles. It's a little weird that Mellon Collie overshadows that album as much as it does when A) it's not as good and B) it wasn't much more successful.
This was a brilliant single. It was their first to sort of cross over to Pop also.
