I'm probably the only person in the world who thinks this is their finest moment, right? Oh well. The song is about an abusive relationship, told from the wife's perspective. It was basically the precise moment that they stopped being successful though, and the album it lead off, 12 Memories, ended up being a complete flop. It peaked at #7 in the UK. Cause you say you love me And then you do it again, you do it again You say your sorries And then you do it again, you do it again And again and again and again and againThe video is really interesting, too. youtube.com/watch?v=3bBBtv_pnX8

I really love the 12 Memories album, but I don't think a lot of people do. I like this song, but I never agreed with it being the lead single. I always preferred "Love Will Come Through" or "The Beautiful Occupation." This was also the first single in the US, if you want to pretend they actually try and release singles here
