This is out in October, but it's already leaked and it's easily my favorite record of the year. On first listen, the whole thing is really hard to swallow because it's so complex and all the place, but it's filled with some of their best hooks and harmonies to date. I've been listening to it for the past two weeks on repeat and I'm still not even remotely sick of it. Even though there's nothing as immediate as on the previous record such as "Promethean Curse," "She's A Rejector," or "Bunny Aint No Kind of Rider," it's jam-packed with two-minute segments of pure pop bliss. I'd highly recommend this LP to anyone who reads the forum.
My favorite tracks are Nonpareil of Favor, Touched Something's Hollow/An Eluardian Instance, St. Exquisite's Confessions, Plastis Wafers (wow!!), and Beware Our Nubile Miscreants. The only traditional song in terms of structure is the first single and last track, Id Engager, but the rest of the album is far more exciting.

I listened to the first five tracks or so, but I find their albums so overwhelming. I'll have to give it another go when I bore with my current stuff (Jenny Lewis, The Streets, Kings Of Leon).
