Wow, that's fast. Probably a good call though, I could see Pop radio grabbing on to this.

This song was tailor made (no pun intended) for pop. This could potentially be HUGE here.

I don't know if I remember wrong but I heard this on KIIS last night.

No, I just verified at yes.com that KIIS has added this. That's crazy. They barely touch anything with a guitar, much less country (except "Before He Cheats," which they only started playing as a recurrent). I guess the hype around Taylor convinced them that "Love Story" was worth an add.

Just heard this on Z100 too. So there you go, the two biggest CHRs in the nation are on this. There's no reason this can't go Top 10 at this point. Southern outlets are bound to shift this into power rotation eventually, they just haven't done so yet.

I'm pretty sure clear channel is under new management. It doesn't make sense how Pop radio can go from being so generic and rhythmic leaning and never taking chances to having all these random songs being added out of nowhere. Why would KIIS all of a sudden add this let alone add BHC as a recurrent?? Even the radio station here is owned by clear channel and has been a lot more willing to add new songs. I'm not complaining. I enjoy it, but I just think its weird.

Starting to really taking off... +659 at #27.
And no, Clear Channel is not suddenly under new management. Well, they went private this year so they've got new owners, but I don't think that has any effect whatsoever on programming.

WOW. Phenomenal bullet - +1224. This is developing into the biggest country crossover in years.

This song is irritating and nice at the same time. But I see it being huge on Pop.

Well then I'm glad the people at clear channel finally changed their narrow-minded rhythmic bubble ways. lol

This is definitely a grower. I love the verses, but find the chorus very irritating.

Why not? The same way other genres can crossover to Pop, she can too.

LOL. I knew you were going to have something harsh to say the moment I saw that you posted in here. Truth be told, it's almost a straight-up pop record once you're playing the Pop Mix. And the fact that Z100 is playing it in sub-power rotation must mean they're getting solid research.

This song is really cute, and so catchy!
Whether or not it comes from country, lyrically I think it appeals to the pop demo of young females perfectly. Plus, she's got gossipy hype from breaking up with that Jonas Brother.

Officially Top 5 at Pop, with a +1200 bullet to boot. Beyonce may or may not block Taylor from #1, depending on "Single Ladies'" longevity, but this is essentially assured of at least a #2 peak. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I think that makes this the biggest country crossover since "You're Still The One" from Shania Twain, over 10 years ago. Wow.
