This is the Pop follow-up to 'If I Were A Boy'
Rap-Up.com attended an exclusive press listening for Beyoncé’s third album I Am… last week at CineSpace in Los Angeles where Mathew Knowles played the double-disc LP and hinted at the follow-up singles to “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).”
On the Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and Beyoncé-produced second pop single “Halo,” the 27-year-old sings about her knight in shining armor (Hov?): “Baby I can see your halo / You know you’re my saving grace / You’re everything I need and more / It’s written all over your face.”
The ballad features heavy drums, claps, piano, and strong vocals from B. “Halo” was written by Beyoncé, Tedder, and E. Kidd Bogart. The entire first disc, I Am… Beyoncé, contains acoustic ballads in the same vein as “Halo.”

ANOTHER ballad?? UGH! Sounds like the Beyonce disc is gonna be a snoozefest.

Is she planning on releasing two singles simultaneously again? She should focus on releasing one good song that would crossover to all formats.

Claps indicates this may have a little swing at least.

Claps indicates this may have a little swing at least. "If I Were A Boy" [and "Irreplaceable" for that matter] have claps, too. In IFWAB, they come in with the beat at 46 sec (on the video).

She is the weirdest person. She's being herself. I do the same type of thinking. Only difference is she's verbalizing it.

She is the weirdest person. Weird doesn't begin to describe her.
