FMQB has this listed for January 6th. Three ballads in a row. Her singles are going to be on power rotation on AC stations in 2020. 1/6 Mainstream Leona Lewis "I Will Be" (J/RMG)

I'd have preferred "Yesterday" but this is a great choice too. It's one of the few good songs on the album.

This should go Top 20. I don't think it'll be nearly as big as her first two ballads.

Why didnt they just do "forgive me?"

Great song, but ANOTHER ballad? They're really trying to pigeonhole her, aren't they.
I'm still pushing for "Misses Glass".

"Forgive Me" would've been a better choice. This would make a good fourth single, though.

This is such a snoozefest.

Personally I think she's over in the US this era. The Akon association may have saved her, but a boring ballad? No way. "Better In Time" didn't even make Top 10 on the Hot 100 with all of her hype and payola'd airplay. This will continue the downward spiral.

"Better In Time" was a legitimate Top 5 hit at Pop, not a payola case.
I agree, however, that this doesn't seem to be the wisest choice on RCA's part. Yet if "Hurt" could go Top 10 two winters ago, I suppose this could in theory.

Why aren't they going with "Forgive Me" ?? I don't know. A lot of people seem to like it. However, I think Forgive Me & Misses Glass are utter garbage. They should have never wasted their time recording them.

Oh, good! They went with the Avril song! Okay, I'm not the only one who hears a "When You're Gone" resemblance. I thought I was crazy for a minute.

^ That's probably because it was written by Avril and appeared on The Best Damn Thing.

On the iTunes version of TBDT. I find this better than "When You're Gone."

This isn't listed on AllAccess yet, so maybe it's not actually confirmed. How reliable of a source is FMQB? I'd rather she release "Forgive Me" as the next single.

I think forgive me would flop it sounds very dated.

It sounds like "The Sweet Escape" and that was a huge hit.

It sounds like an 80's Whitney Houston song

FM will be fine not for the winter though i actually think the single should be swiched to "Take A Bow" and then they should release FM in the spring

A much better choice IMHO than "Forgive Me"... shouldn't have too much problem going top 10 at the very least at CHR.

Songs which consistently finish in the top 5 in callout and payola shouldn't EVER be mentioned in the same breath... "Better In Time" reached #3 on the pop chart. Whether you like it or not the song was a hit. Not to mention arguably the biggest song of 2008 only reached #23 on the Hot 100 chart.
