Personally I think she's over in the US this era. The Akon association may have saved her, but a boring ballad? No way. "Better In Time" didn't even make Top 10 on the Hot 100 with all of her hype and payola'd airplay. This will continue the downward spiral.

Not to mention arguably the biggest song of 2008 only reached #23 on the Hot 100 chart. What song is that? "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock. At it's peak, the album was selling over 100,000 units, but Billboard's antiquated methodology didn't factor a single one of those sales into their "chart." Quite honestly, with all of the Taylor Swift top 10 debuts there, the Estelle thing and this, that "chart" really has zero relevance.

Great choice but I'd have preferred "Whatever It Takes."

Oh wow, that "09" looks so out of place but that's going to be reality in a month. Time flies way too quickly.

This is nice enough, and sounds good at this time of year, but enough already with the sappy ballads from her. Better In Time was hot, but I would have liked to see Forgive Me released. Oh well...I doubt this will make Top 10 at Pop but u never know, wouldn't be that farfetched especially in the winter.

I like this, but it's a bad idea for her to release back to back to back ballads. She'll be considered boring sooner or later and that wouldn't bode well for her future success.

"Forgive Me" would've been a better choice.

I haven't heard her album, but this is the best I've heard her vocally. It doesn't sounds like she's drowning. I still predict a flop though.

I really like Avril's version better. It sounds better with a tint of rock.

She needs to stop after this and put out a less boring album with some better single choices.

She needs to release Take A Bow.

I think she should release "Run" ^ for the winter then release "Forgive Me" and end the era w/ "Take A Bow"

Another wail-fest in the middle of Times Square? Didn't she do that already?

I can't believe they are going through with this either. Take A Bow would be great. Or even re-releasing it with Run and releasing that. Hell, even though I dislike it, Forgive Me would be better since a lot of people seem to like it.

So she's being arrested in the video? If only she could get arrested in real life, that would make her so much more interesting.

She performed this on Letterman. He said:
"talented singer-songwriter", those three words are very disturbing. I don't think she even writes with the "Beyonce style", she's not credited.
