Allegedly, this is the lead single from her new album. Produced by Max Martin.

^LOL! Agreed. However, i see it being sarcastic. Atleast I hope so. With Kelly, you never know. If this were Pink it would definitely be a sarcastic "f**k you" type song. lol

^ I could see that, just because it's Max. Max's cutting edge songwriting + Kelly's attitude = WIN.

According to ASCAP, it's actually called "My Life Would Suck Without You" and was written by Max Martin, Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly.

I feel like even a 13 year old wouldn't say that phrase because they'd realize it was dumb.

Apparently Luke & Max had the chorus for this written shortly after SUBG blew up. Luke seems to think it will be the first single, and could drop as early as December 8th.

This will probably be MASSIVE.
Nov 13 2008 10:06 AM EST Kelly Clarkson's New Single Could Recapture Her 'Since U Been Gone' Glory, Producer Says Dr. Luke says 'My Life Would Suck Without You' could come out in December or January.
While original "American Idol" superstar Kelly Clarkson has been dipping her toe into the country world lately, it appears that she's not going all Carrie Underwood on her upcoming fourth album. According to uber-pop producer Dr. Luke, Clarkson is prepping a new single with the catchy-titled "My Life Would Suck Without You," which could take the singer back to the pop sweet spot she missed in her controversial, harder-edged third album, My December.
Though the album doesn't have a title or release date yet, Luke (born Lukasz Gottwald), recently told EW.com that "Suck" could be out as early as December and that it doesn't have the country twang some had predicted.
EW.com speculated that based on the title and the production team behind it — which also includes Luke's "Since U Been Gone" collaborator, Max Martin — the song could be seen as a sequel to Clarkson's 2004 signature hit. Luke said he started writing the new single with Martin several years ago. "After 'Since U Been Gone,' we wrote all these songs for Kelly," Luke explained. "This one, which I think is the first single — we had the chorus a while ago and added the verse more recently."
While Luke would love to see the song out in December, he said January might be more likely. A spokesperson for Clarkson told MTV News there was no comment on the album at this time, but according to EW.com, a rep for the singer said a single has not yet been chosen.
Luke said that Clarkson has emerged from the funk over December thanks to her new manager, the husband of new BFF Reba McEntire, and she had total confidence in the studio during the sessions for the new album.
"It's sick. She sings a song in two hours and kills it," he said. "You're just like, 'Holy sh--.' She has powerful lungs. She's like the Lance Armstrong of vocal chords."
In late October, Clarkson blogged that she had finished the album and was very excited about it.

If this is good, it will definitely be massive. CHR/Pop is defintiely missing the pop/rock sound right now, with the exception of a few of P!nk's singles.

Pink & Kelly have never been out at the same time. Lets hope Pink doesn't flop and fade away. lol I wanna see these 2 actually compete for once.

Pink should be fine. She's in a position now where radio is in love with her. But Kelly will need one hell of a single to dig her out of the mess from the last era.

You can hear a little of the instrumental here.

I think this could sound like another SUBG, literally.

I just hope she doesn't do what Pink did and release a "Stupid Girls". I mean, so far, their careers have mimicked each other almost identically. Lets just hope it ends here. lol

I don't think Kelly is anywhere near as stubborn as P!nk - she's not the type to release a "message" song.

If the Undead Corpse loves it, it probably does.
Is that Bill Maher interviewing them? Weird. Max virtually never talks though...maybe his Swedish is way better than his English. I always thought Luke was actually also from Sweden for some reason.
