I really like this now. I actually hear it on the radio which is very surprising to me. If something this obscure can make it, I don't understand why a lot of other alternative acts with more straight forward radio friendliness continue to flop though.

I really like this. The lyrics are very pertinent:
The CD single will be released on 3rd March in the UK.

I'm surprised that "Time To Pretend" is not a massive #1 in the UK (yet), it's so catchy and addictive.

It climbs from 54-49 this week! ;D
It's fast becoming my favourite single of the year so far!

I can't see them doing successfully on the Alternative format..definitely not with this song, at least. I think their best shots would be "Electric Feel" or "Weekend Wars." I doubt anything would make a huge impact, though - there are definitely more stations that are being more receptive to more Indie music, but I can't even imagine this on some Alternative stations.

Top thirty is REALLY good for them. Things is I have to wonder if they'd have gotten that high up if they weren't American. Let's face it, as much as I love this song, it's far less US Alt-radio friendly than many British singles that are doing even worse right now.

Hopefully this will get a huge post-Skins downloads boost in the UK this week.

I don't think a better song could have been picked to end this season.

Up to a new high of #25 at Alt... but without a bullet.

This features on the soundtrack to box office #1 21. It actually opens the film, although they mangle it a bit it's still nice to hear

The lyrics are very pertinent: The lyrics are one of the main reasons why I'm so into this song right now. They're SO relatable (with the expcetion of the drug bits, personally)

Hopefully this goes top 20 so they can release Electric Feel. I think that's their best shot at Alternative.
