This song has been playing on the Urban stations here for a few months. I swear, this guy is The-Dream. It sounds right out of his debut album. Same writing style, and they sound almost identical. I wouldn't be surprised if it blew up with a major label backing it. www.prefixmag.com/media/jeremih/birthday-sex-mp3/26902/

He recently signed with Island Def Jam. LOL @ them signing an artist that sounds just like one of their top acts at Urban radio.
Anyway, goes for adds March 31.

As expected, this song has an awful Dance remix.

It reminds me of "Bed" way more than any of The Dream's own material as an artist.
This is good. I like it well enough but I hope it doesn't become so big that it overstays its welcome.

Is his name pronounced "Jeremy" or "Jeremiah"? Because I've head different DJ's introduce his song as each.

It's pronounced like "Jer-i-my." I would be so embarrassed if my mom named me that.

My Rhythmic station from Philadelphia has been playing a remix that turns into this kind of dance type thing that reminds me of 90's bass songs. I THINK this might be it. It sounds slower than this on the radio though www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjDvukvHsqA

It's not that one. I know what you're talking about, though, B96 plays the same version. I absolutely hate it. I was annoyed when "Day 'n' Nite" was turned into a Dance song, but this is just completely unnecessary. This is an R&B song, and was doing fine at Rhythmic radio without a remix.

This is catching on at some other Pop stations too.
"Bed" 2009 was spot on.

Yeah this is going to be big on Pop this summer I think. Not big as in #1, but definitely Top 15 and possibly Top 10.

Top 10 at Urban, healthy bullet at Rhythmic, taking off at Pop, and #34 on iTunes.
I'm VERY surprised at the success of this song.
