The video's too literal for me. But somehow I still like it.

The song's a grower. I always hear it when I stream Power 105 already. Very radio friendly.

The videos corny when they're falling, but I like the song better because of it. It should do well for her.

I like this song, I had a lengthy discussion about Keri with a friend, she needs to do something PR wise to get the light on her.

I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed... especially with the Kanye & Ne-yo collabo. Both being played out on radio, especially the latter of the two.

Ne-Yo's line about being on a pimp ship riding high is comedy and kills the lyrical flow here...

Is this song, is them getting knocked down a good or bad thing? In the verses, it sounds like Keri and Ne-Yo are happy that they are in love or whatever. But at the beginning of the song Keri says "...Not again, this ain't supposed to happen to me." And in the chorus, they say "Get back up when it knocks you down," like it's a bad thing. Maybe I'm thinking too hard.

I never really thought that much about it...I just thought it meant what she says...when love knocks u down, get back up

Yeah but that "when it knocks you down, get back up" line kind of goes with Darrion's point.
But we're probably overanylsing a song that they didn't even think about. They just wanted it to sound like a hit, not have meaningful lyrics or a message or anything.

I think the song is about Keri falling in love with another man. Ne-Yo being her boyfriend and Kanye being her new flame.

This is going for Pop adds tomorrow. I see this being a good fit. Hope it does well. She has not one but two big Pop names of the moment there to help her. I could see this going Top 20 but taking a while to get there. I'm still surprised "Turnin Me On" didn't do well at Pop because it's not like it's one of those ultra Urban songs- itmade it all the way to #2 Rhythmic which usually guarentees Top 15 at Pop...

^Yeah, I know what you mean. But I think the problem was it took too long to catch on at Pop and people were already tired of it. Had it taken off on Pop sooner, I think it would have easily gone Top 15.
Anyways, I love this and I think its a great fit for Pop. Plus, like Adam said, its got 2 big names on it.

This is dead on arrival at Pop, at least initially. Only 5 adds on impact week.

I've heard a few stations bleep out Ne-Yo's part when he says "ship."
I know it's a ridiculous lyric, but why the need to censor it? I guess they think it could like he's saying "sh*t" but it really doesn't sound like that word to me.
