I can't see it happening, but I would love for "Alienated" to be a solo hit. I agree. The only solo songs on her album that aren't flops are "Alienated" (Pop) and "Slow Dance" (Urban).

Although I really like this, it doesn't seem exceptionally more poppy to me than "Turnin' Me On," although this does have a more coherent hook. I won't argue with its CHR success, though. Glad she's scoring hits after the sluggish start.

Well, I agree that this & Turnin Me On are equally poppy. The big difference is this is less abrasive and "annoying".

I definitely agree. That hasn't harmed other songs from taking off at Pop, but it probably didn't help that Keri wasn't established at the format when TMO was being pushed. "Knock You Down" sounds right at home on Urban or Rhythmic radio, but like I said...not exactly tailor-made for CHR.

"Turnin' Me On" is as Urban as they come IMO. I was actually surprised that any Pop stations played it. The lyrics do not appeal to the majority of CHR listeners.

I never would have guessed that this pleasant little sugary song would end up at #1 in national airplay.

I never would have guessed that this pleasant little sugary song would end up at #1 in national airplay. It's surprises like this that keep my hopes alive for other artists with similarly underrated, yet good songs. ;D

Just realized this song name checks Michael Jackson. It really pops out when you hear that part now.

Top 10 at POP radio!!!
13 10 KERI HILSON Knock You Down Zone 4/Interscope 2009 5479 4610 869
MIZZ KERI BAYBEEEH!
I would say this has a good shot at #1, but I Gotta Feeling is probably going to block it out. Keri is a lock for Top 3, though!!
This is playing on the radio right now! Such a SMASH!

SO tired of this. It's a nice song but not made for this type of oversaturation.
