Fourth (Third according to Kanye) single from "Late Registration" I don't even remember how this goes. LOL at him trying to cover up "Diamonds." Sorry, but it's grammy nominated! And I LOVE this song!

It looks like this will atleast be the second biggest Urban hit behind "Gold Digger" from the album.

This is kind of flopping already. It's down to +49 at Rhythmic and stuck at #26 for a week now. Kanye hypes himself up SO much that he can't even live up to it.

This is definatly a good single, but really he had two hits from his first album, and they weren't even that huge. It looks like that will happpen with this one too. He doesn't really need them to sell his album though.

"Heard 'Em Say" was just a stupid single. Way too pop for a rap artist who really only has one big pop hit. Pop radio actually seems to wait on urban and rhythmic to decide whether or not to play a Kanye single... so trying to reverse that pattern was really stupid. From personal preference, I don't even think the song was good. This is by far my favorite song on the album now, but it's not hooky enough or gimmicky enough to be a hit after a bomb.

He should have recorded a second verse on "Bring Me Down" and made that the single!

The background music is HOT! This is a really good song IMO. I even like this better then his 2nd single "Gold Digger". I hope this does good on the charts. This is probably my favorite Hip-Hop track out now. There aint many others I like.

Here's the thing: I think Kanye produces excellent instrumental tracks. But his raps usually ruin it for me. (I was just listening to Dilated Peoples' "This Way" and "So Soulful" by Consequence today and was reminded that Kanye can make great tracks for other people.)
"Touch The Sky" has a phenomenal instrumental, but I can't stand listening to his rap. If Nas or Common were rapping over the same track, I'd love it.

Yeah, but I think Kanye's too much of a megalomaniac to produce full time. He just really loves the spotlight. So, that means that he'll probably always save his best tracks for himself. But, seriously, when I think about all the excellent productions he's done, I am reminded that he is talented and that I should stop hating him so much: "You Don't Know My Name" - Alicia Keys "Stand Up" - Ludacris "Overnight Celebrity" - Twista "Came Back For You" - Lil' Kim "Go" - Common "Get By" & "I Try" - Talib Kweli "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" & "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" - Jay-Z & Beyonce "Brown Sugar (Extra Sweet)" - Mos Def feat Faith "Stay The Night" - Mariah Carey

I LOVE "Where You Wanna Be". I've never been a fan of the tracks he did with Janet though.

I LOVE "Where You Wanna Be". I've never been a fan of the tracks he did with Janet though. Agreed. "Where You Wanna Be" is classic Brandy. I feel like Kanye really took Brandy's style into consideration when he did that song for her. It sounds like it could be on Never Say Never. As far as the Janet songs go, I like them just fine, but they're bland. Really subpar for both Janet AND Kanye.

Just find out what song this samples and I thought Kayne was amazing. Well he's still a good producer but not amazing anymore. The production is a straight ripoff. You have to give credit were credits due and I have to give credit to the original producer of this instrumental but Kayne's version is great.

Almost all of Kanye's production is just ripping off beats. He is so f**king overrated.
