Wow! The support behind this is amazing. It will probably become the longest running #1 single on 6 different formats and the Hot 100.

Due to recent board situations where personal drama overpowered the original intentions of this message board, an alternate board was created for those who wish to discuss music in a more mature and sophisticated manner without the drama and immature antics
lmao at this board being as hilarious as the last

I think it has a like + 16 or something like that bullet at # 41. it went top 40 though, but it deserved much better.

Now that Hot 97 added this, the audience is really going to go up. Maybe Faith will have the last laugh afterall.
Is there a video for this song?

I don't think Capitol wanted to put in the effort, but if Hot 97 can give it a boost then there may be.

Blame Capitol for Faye's flops, not The Queen.

jennifer i pity you.
"Tru love" has been #3 gainer at Urban AC for more than a week now. it's about to break into the overall top 30 at urban.

haha thanks God King Kong!
i heard that this just went top 40 R&B, I dono if that's true because that would be a huge jump. Hope so that, since that puts it way beyond the peak of "Mesmerized" and "Come Over"

I just heard this song on the radio for the first time ever tonight! It definitely sounds radio-friendly... hopefully this can pull a "U Should've Known Better" and take months to climb up to the Top 10.

It's now #37 at Urban and still blowing up at Urban AC. I'm convinced if Capitol got behind this, it may even have the potential to become the biggest hit off the album. They've done absolutely nothing for this song and the album didn't do well. Given the circumstances, this is doing extremely well. I really want them to properly promote this. It's doing so much more than expected and this is the kind of song that could push Faith's album to Platinum status.

yeah, it bulleted from #58 to #52 at Billboard R&B, so it's bigger than "Mesmerized" and any of her other songs that didn't have a video. But other than that "Burnin' Up" is the next highest, and that went to #19.

I saw about 10 seconds of her performance of this on some late-night show the other night! They ended credits like 10 seconds into it. Didn't even reach the chorus. -SMH-. I wanted to hear the whole thing.

Power 105 in NYC has added this, but just for their Power After Hour show. Hopefully that means regular rotation is on the way.
