The Rumble Strips are an awesome poppy-ska band out of England, with a sophomore album slated for release on July 13. Welcome to the Walk Alone will be the follow-up to 2007's Girls and Weather. I missed the first album in 2007 but learned about them last year and have been looking forward to a follow-up since then. Their music is upbeat, fun and simple. Can't wait to see how they mix things up this time around! Mark Ronson is producing their new album. You can hear some of their music on their MYSPACE PAGE. "Girls and Boys In Love" and "Time" are old songs. "Not The Only Person" and "London" are from the forthcoming album.

Yikes! Looks like "Not The Only Person" didn't make the airplay or singles charts. That doesn't bode well for the album, which comes out next week.
Incidentally, the video is weird, creepy and awesome.
