As far as I am aware, this is the lead single from his ninth studio album. The rumors about him leaving Motown seem to be false. It goes for adds next week.

I was hoping Brian would leave Motown.....I think that Motown has got really LAZY in promoting Brian's releases. Brian still makes good quality music so Motown has no excuse. I really am interested in hearing what this sounds like. ;D

It's on iTunes. This is probably my third favorite single by him this decade behind "Love Of My Life" and "Everytime You Go Away". It's very Marvin Gaye.

I just heard the clip only, but this is a very strong effort. Hopefully another UAC #1 for him.

This has become his biggest R&B hit since "Love Of My Life" went to #11 in 2001.

I always thought this sounded too much like "Gotta Go" by Trey Songz.

Oh i didn't post for this one. I still love it. I've been very disappointed by his latest albums, too many bland songs.

Brian is with Warner Bros. now. I can't say they'll be any better or worse than Motown has been. He'll probably get treated exactly the same by radio, big at Urban AC as long as the song is decent and very little urban airplay. Not that I expect or even think he deserves a crossover hit given his recent output, but I can't see Warner Bros. reviving his career like a label change could do for some artists.

I think it's my favourite r&b slow jam of the year so far, realised as single. This song isn't very original but it sounds so great, i love the beat and the melody.

If I heard "Anytime" and this song today for the first time, I'd have though this song was easily the older of the two. I like it, but it goes to show he really has no shot at all of crossover success with this style of music. At least he's getting new music out there and has an outlet that supports him still.
