Done by Mariah, The Dream and Tricky Stewart. No details yet. It was played by LA Reid on a listening party in New York

I hope this is the super radio friendly ballad she desperately needs this time around.

HOW BOUT A ROUND OF APPLAUSE! LOL
"Hate U" looks like it's going to be the second single. So if this is the "super radio friendly ballad", I don't know what they are waiting for.
"Hate U" better not be another "Bye Bye" mess.

HOW BOUT A ROUND OF APPLAUSE! LOL "Hate U" looks like it's going to be the second single. So if this is the "super radio friendly ballad", I don't know what they are waiting for. I still think "Obsessed" has some life in it. It's not blowing up, but it's still gaining steadily. I don't want them to interfere with Obsessed's chart run if it's going to be the only semi-hit we get.

I wonder if that means that she's imitating Michael's voice style, or that the song is very generic and boring.

Probably very radio friendly R&B.

"Hate U" better not be another "Bye Bye" mess. The demo of "Hate U" sounds very promising and doesn't sound anything like "Bye Bye," IMO. I can't see it repeating the same disappointing chart run. Mariah's "so long" song? I fear this will be the one that sounds like "Bye Bye". lol

This is probably in the same vein as Rihanna's Take a Bow

Similar vibe to "Obsessed," but with a more electronic feel. Apparently out of all of the (6) songs played at the Hong Kong listening party, this was the only other "upbeat" song aside from "Obsessed." Sounds like Mary J. and has a part where she says "stop" and the music stops.

Nothing I've read about this song has interested me yet.

This is the only clip I'm not feeling. I hate how harsh her voice sounds.

Now that we have the chorus I like it more, but damn, it sounds NOTHING like her.

Now that we've heard the hook, this song is a lot better.

The chorus is so insanely catchy. Really simple and f**king hot.

The hook on this song is f**king hot. But I think the verses are too boring for it to be a single. And WTF is going on at the end of the song?

I think I prefer this over Up Out My Face as the third single

This ish is epic. I love the production (especially the beat that comes in on the second verse), and it's catchy as hell. I also love the ending - those notes are incredible. F**k the cutesy stuff (UOMF) - it's good, but it doesn't represent the record at all. Third single please.

I want this to be the third single now.
I hope they surprise us with this instead of UOMF, even though that song is a hit too. This would work better in Europe too.

This is not hot at all. It's her on the T-Pain trend. This one has a burnout rate that's going to kill it, guaranteed.
