Live was quite possibly my favorite mid-90's rock band. Now that we're a couple years past their ugly, ugly breakup we have some new solo material from Ed. This is more of an Active Rock song than the Hot AC stuff we've heard from Live lately, and it's good. Better than good. This is going to out-perform anything from their last two albums easily. Streaming free at: www.edkowalczyk.com/Goes for adds June 15th.

Ugly, ugly break up? Fill me in on what happened! Well, long story short, there was a lot of in-fighting about the direction of the band, and about some of the contracts that were signed, and specifically royalties I believe. From what I've been able to piece together, it sounded like Ed had a much better contract than the rest of the band (not sure how common that is) and when that went away he demanded monetary bonuses for public appearances ($100K according to Wikipedia?). They split shortly after, still don't have the legal/money issues sorted as far as I know. Rest of the band is now with the Candlebox singer.

Anyone else hear this?!
I used to love Live, especially "All Over Me."
